March Simon says stamp card kit

Hi everyone!  I just received my new card kit for March and I thought I would show you what comes with it.  I really love these kits, it comes with so much stuff.  There is a guide for six cards but there is enough product to make way more then that.  This is a nice assortment for $19.99, I have to say I am very happy so far!

Exciting News!!

I have decided to sign up to be a consultant with Close to my Heart!!  This is something I have wanted to do for a long time, and it's finally the right time for me. Dear Lizzy card

I made this card using the new Dear Lizzy paper.  The pink patterned paper is from the 6x6 pad and the jar was cut out from the 12x12 paper.  I added glossy accents to the lid and the embellies in the jar are epoxy stickers that I stuck on patterned paper and cut out.

Lovin the Amy Tangerine line

I just can't seem to get enough of the Amy Tangerine line.  I love the bright colors and fun patterns.  I also  used the Sew Ribbon tool from We R Memory Keepers, it makes adding ribbon a breeze.  I never wold have taken the time to do that by hand.  The letters on the tag are Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type.

First 12x12 layout

I made this layout for a design team application and since I didn't make the team I can now share it will all of you.  This is the first layout I have ever done.  I don't really scrapbook but the application said you had to submit at least one layout.  I think it turned out okay, I'm not really sure what I'll do with it because I don't have a book to put it in!!  I used the  Basic Grey Sweet Threads collection.

Kissing Booth Valentine's Day card

The card is a standard A2 size.  The base is made with Hero Hues Grenadine card stock. The patterned paper is Basic Grey Heartbreaker and is cut at 3 3/4 x 5 inches.  The hearts are also cut from the Heartbreaker paper and I used pop dots to make them stand out, positioning them between the other hearts on the paper.  The ticket is a Tim Holtz adage ticket and I used Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type for the I and You.  Everything came from the wonderful Simon Says Stamp card kit!

Where has the time gone!!

I've had a crazy couple of weeks!! We've had some family and friends visit and the terrible two have decided to take over my son. I'll be back to posting regularly next week. I've been able to get a couple of projects done in between the visits and the temper tantrums!!
