A few cards

I had a little extra time today, both kiddies decided to take a nap at the same time so I got to make a few cards.  A couple are for Valentine's day and the others are for anything.  I like to leave my cards without sentiments so I can go back later and add one when I need the card. With he cards that I used Basic Grey Sweet Threads I had such a hard time mixing the papers because I am so used to using 6x6 paper and these papers are from the collection pack.  It's the first time in a really long time that I've bought 12x12 paper to use on cards and I think it will probably be the last time.  I like that the 6x6 pads are the same prints just scaled down in size.  I think that really makes the cards look good.

  1. Pretty cards--and I think the Sweet Threads cards turned out great, though I know what you mean about the smaller pads. I don't really make cards, but sometimes the big patterns, even on 12x12, in some designs just seem overwhelming.

  2. Love all your cards. Wish my kids still napped but no such luck. Love the last card! Is the boxer shorts a stamp?

    1. The boxer shorts are actually from a piece of Jillybean soup paper. They have a really cute mini Valentines line called Hearty Barley.
